• $60 per massage (please have your horse brushed prior to my arrival, or I can do it for $10)

Colic and Ulcer Clinics:

There is a portion of the full-body sports massage that has been shown to ease the pain of colic and help digestion get back on track while you wait for the vet. It also soothes the pain of horses with ulcer issues.

I offer a one-day, hands-on clinic on how to perform this sequence.  You will be surprised by the gut sounds you hear (as well as some of the other biological actions that inevitably occur!) as you learn these valuable strokes.  You will gain confidence and a peace of mind that if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation, you will be able to provide some comfort to your horse before the vet arrives.  The class includes a brief overview of equine musculature and how sports massage benefits our friends, as well as handouts on the technique for home reference.
